Hamouchi Appoints New Generation of Security Officials in a Group of Moroccan Cities

The General Directorate of National Security has appointed a group of new talents to responsible positions within the decentralized security departments in the cities of Rabat, Essaouira, Marrakech, Oujda, Laayoune, Tangier, Larache, and Laayoune Oriental.

In this context, a head was appointed to the Police Commission in Laayoune Oriental, in addition to appointing two district police chiefs in Larache and Tangier. Furthermore, professional competencies were placed at the head of traffic patrol teams in Rabat, Marrakech, and Essaouira. A head for the Criminal Investigation Unit and an acting head for the Gang Control Unit were also appointed in the regional police departments of Oujda and Laayoune. Additionally, a security framework was established at the head of a unit affiliated with the Regional Department of Public Inquiries in Oujda.
