Al-Mansouri Reveals New Details for the First Time on the Suspension of Abu Al-Ghali’s Membership

In a notable development within the Authenticity and Modernity Party, following the announcement by Salahuddin Abu Al-Ghali, a member of the party’s collective leadership, of his refusal to appear before the Ethics and Arbitration Committee after the decision to suspend his membership, Fatima Zahra Al-Mansouri, the coordinator of the collective leadership, commented on the matter for the first time. She emphasized that she did not accuse Abu Al-Ghali of being a “fraud,” but admitted there were doubts based on complaints and documents submitted to her.

Al-Mansouri stated in an open meeting organized by the party’s youth in Bouznika that the committee listened to Abu Al-Ghali’s justifications but did not find them sufficiently convincing, which led to referring the matter to the political bureau.

The party’s political leadership unanimously decided to suspend Abu Al-Ghali’s membership following complaints received by the party, which raised questions regarding his ethical conduct.

Al-Mansouri pointed out that the party is not a court to pass judgments, but it must adhere to the activation of the ethics document that was established, which should be implemented effectively rather than remain mere slogans. She stressed the importance of the party’s commitment to the values of ethics and transparency.
