Iranian Hackers Reveal “Stolen Secret” from Trump

An Iranian hacking group accused of intercepting emails from U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s campaign recently published the stolen materials after initially failing to attract mainstream media attention.

Over the past few weeks, the hackers began selling Trump’s emails to a political aide in the Democratic Party, who subsequently published portions of the material on the website of their political action committee, known as American Muckrakers.

The hackers also sold the emails to independent journalists, one of whom published the content on the newsletter platform Substack.

The released materials reveal communications between Trump’s campaign team, external advisors, and other allies discussing various topics ahead of the 2024 election.
