London: Morocco Crowned “Most Welcoming Destination” at the World Travel Market
Morocco was awarded the “Most Welcoming Destination” prize during the Arabian Travel Awards ceremony, held on the sidelines of the World Travel Market in London from November 5 to 7. According to observers and industry professionals, this recognition is a testament to Morocco’s commitment to hospitality, enhancing its appeal and brand reputation as a leading tourist destination in the UK market.
Morocco’s outstanding presence at this year’s World Travel Market was notable, with an 800-square-meter pavilion featuring 54 exhibitors. The pavilion was designed to showcase Morocco’s rich culture, diverse cuisine, and traditional craftsmanship. It also included a VIP networking area and dedicated spaces for the two celebrated regions this year, Marrakech-Safi and Souss-Massa, which are among the most popular destinations for British tourists.
The participation of the Moroccan National Tourist Office in this global tourism event is part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen Morocco’s international presence and stimulate growth in key international markets. This year, the event is expected to see an increase in visitor numbers and a 7 percent rise in exhibitors, totaling more than 4,000 exhibitors.
