Meeting of Majority Leaders Before Parliament Opening, Government Reshuffle at the Top of the Agenda

According to ELKHABARIYA, the governmental majority is expected to hold a meeting in the coming days before the opening of Parliament by King Mohammed VI on the second Friday of October.

According to the website’s sources, the meeting will address the political entry challenges and the main issues on the coalition’s agenda.

The anticipated government reshuffle is one of the topics to be discussed in the upcoming majority leadership meeting. It is expected that the Authenticity and Modernity Party and the Istiqlal Party will present to the Prime Minister a list of new ministerial candidates.

In addition, critical issues such as controversial bills going through parliamentary approval, as well as water and energy security issues, will be a top priority for the government in the coming political season due to the water stress facing the kingdom.

The 2025 Finance Law, Family Code, unemployment, and the strike law will also be among the topics at the upcoming majority meeting.
