Release of Grants for Leadership Institutions’ Staff: A Significant Step Towards Improving Education Quality
The Ministry of National Education, Primary Education, and Sports has announced the release of grants for staff of leadership institutions, marking a new initiative in efforts to develop the educational sector in Morocco. This decision comes through a joint decree by the Minister of National Education, Chakib Benmoussa, and the Minister of Budget, Fouzi Lekjaa.
This initiative is part of the ministry’s strategy to motivate and honor distinguished educational personnel, with the annual grant set at 10,000 dirhams. The decision followed a thorough and comprehensive evaluation process, requiring the concerned staff to obtain final approval from the central certification committee.
In this context, the ministry issued a recent memorandum, signed by Secretary-General Younes Sassi, detailing the implementation mechanisms of this decision. The grant specifically targets educational staff who participated in the Teaching at the Right Level (TARL) and effective teaching programs during the past academic year.
This decision represents a significant step towards enhancing the quality of education in Morocco, aiming to motivate teachers to adopt advanced and innovative teaching methods. It also reflects the ministry’s commitment to supporting and developing educational staff, considering them as the cornerstone of the educational reform process.
This measure is expected to enhance educational performance in leadership institutions, positively impacting the overall quality of education in the Kingdom. It serves as an additional incentive for teachers to develop their skills and adopt modern teaching methods that align with global standards.
This step underscores the importance of investing in human resources within the education sector and reinforces the teacher’s role as a fundamental pillar in building the future of upcoming generations. It is hoped that this initiative will pave the way for more programs and projects aimed at elevating the level of education in Morocco.
