Said Amzazi Presides Over the Inauguration of New Authority Officials in Agadir Ida Outanan
On Monday, August 19, 2024, Said Amzazi, Wali of the Souss-Massa Region and Governor of the Agadir Ida Outanane Province, presided over a ceremony to inaugurate the new authority officials appointed within the territorial jurisdiction of Agadir Ida Outanane as part of the latest transfer movement announced by the Ministry of the Interior.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the Wilaya of the Souss-Massa Region, representatives of the judicial, security, and local authorities, as well as heads of external departments, several elected officials, parliamentarians, and civil society representatives.
In his speech, Said Amzazi emphasized the importance of this meeting in inaugurating the new authority officials, explaining that this transfer movement is part of efforts to achieve greater efficiency and rationalize human resources in accordance with the high royal instructions. He also pointed out that this movement supports the principles of competence, merit, and equal opportunities, focusing on adhering to objective standards and raising the level of work in the territorial administration to serve citizens better.
The Wali of Souss-Massa added that this transfer movement is part of the transition from the traditional public service model to a model based on competence management, through the implementation of the comprehensive evaluation system known as “360 degrees,” which enhances the objectivity of performance evaluation and involves citizens in the process.
Amzazi pointed out that the Souss-Massa region and Agadir Ida Outanane province have become a national economic hub thanks to royal care, emphasizing the importance of accelerating industrial development in the region by establishing modern industrial platforms such as the Alliopolis Complex and the Industrial Acceleration Zone.
The Wali also affirmed that choosing Agadir to host major international sporting events like the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2030 FIFA World Cup poses a significant challenge that requires the combined efforts of everyone to achieve sustainable development and enhance the region’s attractiveness as an international tourist destination.
In this context, Amzazi called on the new authority officials to adopt a policy of proximity, focus on water issues, monitor construction sites, combat illegal construction, improve sanitation, and manage public facilities efficiently and transparently.
List of those transferred to the Agadir Ida Outanane Province:
- Mr. Moulay Mohamed El Bouazawi, General Secretary, Head of the Interior Affairs Department, born on April 14, 1976, in Khouribga. Joined the administration in 2003, holds a graduate degree in administrative law and a Ph.D. in public law. His last position was Head of the Interior Affairs Department in the Oujda Angad Province.
- Mr. Ali Belk, Head of the Urban Area of Ben Sergao, born on June 4, 1974, in Nador, holds a bachelor’s degree in law. His last position was Head of Division in the Interior Affairs Department in Meknes Province.
- Mr. Mohamed Heddach, Head of the Urban Area of the Port, born on November 24, 1972, in Tinghir, holds a bachelor’s degree in public law. His last position was Pasha of Ain Aouda in the Skhirat-Temara Province.
- Mrs. Ahlem Idrissi Wakkili, Head of the Urban Area annexed to the Governor’s office, born on August 10, 1981, in Fes. Joined the administration in 2012, holds an advanced graduate diploma and a master’s in territorial administration, and her last position was Head of the Fifth Administrative Annex of Agadir Center.
- Mr. Mohamed Naïm, Head of the Urban Area of Anza, born on January 13, 1980, in Casablanca, a graduate of the Royal Institute of Territorial Administration. His last position was the Commander of the Kasba Leadership in the Boulemane Province.
- Mr. Abdel Rahim Hilal, Head of the Urban Area of Ida Outanane, born on October 28, 1977, in Zagora, holds a bachelor’s degree in administrative law. His last position was the Commander of the Beni Mellal Leadership in Beni Mellal Province.
- Mr. Mostafa Chikli, Head of the Urban Area of Ait Melloul, born on May 3, 1982, in Meknes, holds a bachelor’s degree in law. His last position was the Commander of the Ouled Teima Leadership in the Taroudant Province.
- Mr. Idriss Boujmoui, Head of the Urban Area of Talborjt, born on February 22, 1980, in Fes, holds a graduate diploma in public law. His last position was the Commander of the Sidi Slimane Leadership in Sidi Slimane Province.
- Mrs. Fatima Zahra Bouguetas, Head of the Urban Area of Ighrem, born on January 15, 1983, in Sidi Kacem, holds a graduate diploma in political science. Her last position was Head of the First Administrative Annex in Meknes.
