The Royal Moroccan Federation Holds a Tribute Ceremony Honoring Former International Players from the Eastern Region
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation organized a tribute ceremony on Sunday, October 13, 2024, in Saïdia, to honor former international players from the eastern region belonging to the teams of Mouloudia Oujda and Renaissance Sportive de Berkane.
During this ceremony, attended by Mr. Jamal Kaaouachi and Mohamed Houar, members of the executive board representing Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, as well as Mr. Walid Regragui and members of the national football team, the attendees highlighted the importance of this initiative in fostering a culture of recognition and linking the past with the present. They emphasized the importance of expanding this initiative in the future to include all regions of the Kingdom.
The list of honored players included: Mohamed Filali, Kamal Smairi, Rachid Naqrouz, Mohamed Marzak, Mostafa Tahiri, Hachimi Barazi, Hamida Boushaba, Hussein Bouchekhrouf, Yahya Harras, Ala Hassan, Abdelhafid Fgoul, Alaeddine Tamimi, Mohamed Bayad, Mohamed Idrissi, and Hamida Belhiywan.
