Trump Suddenly Leaves TV Interview Due to Assassination Threats

Former U.S. President Donald Trump abruptly ended a television interview he was conducting near the U.S.-Mexico border in the state of Arizona, for reasons related to personal security.

This development came after Trump informed the NewsNation correspondent that he felt in danger, pointing out that local authorities had not yet apprehended the man who threatened to kill him.

During the interview, which was focused on the relationship between Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump interrupted, saying, “Can I tell you something? We are in danger if we talk here, so let’s not prolong the conversation. My security team doesn’t want me to stay here, and they don’t want you to stay here either.” Trump then left the scene surrounded by Secret Service agents.

At the same time, Arizona state authorities announced the arrest of Ronald Lee Seavrood, 66, who had posted threats against Trump on social media.

Seavrood had been wanted by authorities in Arizona on hit-and-run-related charges, as well as outstanding warrants in Wisconsin related to driving under the influence.

This follows a previous assassination attempt on Trump in July, where he was shot in the ear during a campaign event in Pennsylvania, resulting in the death of one attendee.
