Young Man from Tindouf Camps Exposes Polisario Corruption and Appeals to King Mohammed VI for Rescue
In a brave move, Sahrawi youth “Hamad Mohammed Ayna” has joined the ranks of those protesting the corruption of the Polisario leadership from within the Tindouf camps. This young man, who was once a tool in the hands of the Polisario to serve their agendas, decided to break the silence and appeal to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, demanding rescue for himself and his family from the oppression and injustice they face within the camps.
The Forum of Supporters of Autonomy from the Heart of Tindouf Camps, known as “FORSATIN,” stated that Hamad Mohammed Ayna, known among the camp residents, was among the Sahrawi youths exploited by the Polisario to execute its plans inside and outside the camps. However, the rebellious young man recently decided to shed light on the tragic reality within the camps, calling for the correction of conditions and the curbing of widespread corruption among the leadership. He did not stop there but also directed sharp criticism at the leader Ibrahim Ghali and his entourage, exposing serious files and sensitive issues among the camp residents.
According to the same source, Hamad’s boldness placed him in the crosshairs of the Polisario’s retaliation, which did not hesitate to take a series of punitive measures against him. After cutting off his livelihood and stealing his belongings, the front turned to fabricating judicial cases to strip him of his freedom. Ultimately, he found himself behind bars, yet he remained steadfast in the face of oppression.
Despite being imprisoned and facing pressure, the Polisario could not silence Hamad. The young man continued to expose the leadership’s corruption through social media, using all available platforms to raise his voice. His boldness reached the point of threatening the leadership with directly addressing His Majesty King Mohammed VI from within the camps, in a move that could shake the pillars of the Polisario Front and embarrass the Algerian regime, adds the forum.
Hamad indicated in his messages that the front seeks to prevent him from leaving the camps for fear of his influence in international human rights forums, with the Algerian regime fearing that he might become a strong voice exposing the violations. Therefore, he was placed under house arrest under the guise of “suspended imprisonment.”
The resilient “Hamad” did not give up despite the oppression and made a public plea to all his acquaintances and friends inside and outside the camps, asking them to help him leave the camps for Europe. He threatened that if there was no response, he would make a direct appeal to King Mohammed VI, which could endanger his life not only from the Polisario but also from the Algerian regime.
