The General Directorate of National Security announced on Thursday, October 24, a series of new appointments in leadership roles across decentralized public security offices in the cities of Fez, Agadir, Imouzzer Kandar, Mehdia, Dakhla, and Demnate. This internal initiative aims to infuse fresh energy by appointing young, skilled, and experienced security personnel capable of actively contributing to citizen safety and property protection.
These appointments, approved by Abdellatif Hammouchi, the General Director of National Security, include nine new leadership positions. Among these are the appointments of two deputy heads in two security zones in Fez, as well as three police district heads in Agadir, Imouzzer Kandar, and Mehdia.
The appointments also extended to assigning leadership to uncentralized divisions of uniformed police, with three heads appointed for the urban security units in Agadir, Dakhla, and the police station in Demnate.
