Adar Poonawalla, CEO of the Serum Institute of India, announced in a statement on Wednesday that a vaccine for monkeypox has been discovered. The Serum Institute is known as the world’s largest vaccine manufacturer.
According to some sources, Poonawalla stated: “As we continue to make progress, we will share additional updates and positive news throughout the year.”
However, the institute has not provided any details regarding the stages of development for the monkeypox vaccine or the timeline for its release.
